HEARTY BBQ BAKED BEANS
These beans have lots of flavor. I don't care for beans that are to sweet but you can add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar to sweeten these up. They go excellent with grilling. I use Bush's original beans and Jack Daniels BBQ sauce but you can use what you prefer. Reduce baking time to 1 hr if you don't like a thick beans.

Tips:
- Use dried beans: Dried beans are more flavorful and have a better texture than canned beans. If you're using dried beans, be sure to soak them overnight before cooking.
- Use a variety of beans: Don't just stick to one type of bean. Use a mix of different beans, such as pinto beans, kidney beans, and black beans, to add flavor and texture to your baked beans.
- Add some meat: If you like, you can add some meat to your baked beans. Cooked bacon, sausage, or ground beef are all good options.
- Use a flavorful sauce: The sauce is what really makes baked beans special. Use a sauce that's packed with flavor, such as a BBQ sauce, a tomato sauce, or a molasses sauce.
- Bake them low and slow: Baked beans are best when they're cooked low and slow. This allows the flavors to develop and the beans to become tender.
