HAWAIIAN-STYLE SAUSAGE AND RICE
I used to work where we had a lot of potluck lunches. I just brought the ingredients, already prepared, a rice cooker, and an electric frying pan. I would start the rice about 20 minutes before lunch and cook the rest in the frying pan while everyone else was uncovering and setting out their dishes. My copy of the recipe is getting so tattered I felt I better archive it. I would sorely miss it if lost.

Tips:
- Choose the right sausage: The best sausages for Hawaiian sausages are those that have a good smoky flavor, such as kielbasa or andouille. You can also use regular pork sausage, but it will not have as much flavor.
- Slice the sausages thinly: This will help them cook evenly and prevent them from becoming dry.
- Cook the sausages over medium heat: This will help them cook through without burning.
- Add the pineapple and bell peppers towards the end of cooking: This will prevent them from becoming overcooked and mushy.
- Serve the sausages with your favorite dipping sauce: Some popular options include teriyaki sauce, sweet and sour sauce, or mustard.
Conclusion:
Hawaiian sausages are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. They can be served as an appetizer, main course, or snack. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a flavorful and satisfying meal that your family and friends will love.
