1 to 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 1/2 cups honey bbq sauce
1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks, drained and 1/4 cup liquid reserved
1 small red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 small yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 cups cooked rice
Chopped fresh parsley, if desired

Steps:

  • Spray 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place chicken thighs in slow cooker.
  • Top with garlic and sauce. Add pineapple chunks and 1/4 cup reserved liquid.

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (6 ounces each)
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 can (20 ounces) unsweetened sliced pineapple
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 medium green pepper, cut into rings
Hot cooked rice

Steps:

  • In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken, one piece, at a time, and shake to coat. In a skillet, brown chicken in oil. Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish., In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, bouillon and ginger. Drain pineapple into a 2-cup measuring cup; set pineapple aside. 1 cup soy sauce
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
6 cups cooked rice
6 pineapple rings (or more)

Steps:

  • Combine soy sauce, pineapple juice, oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, ginger, dry mustard and pepper in a saucepan.

2 teaspoons cornstarch
¼ cup vinegar

3 pounds assorted chicken pieces such as breasts, thighs, wings, and drumsticks
