HAWAIIAN COCONUT-BANANA BREAD
I am a connoisseur of banana bread. I grew up on my grandmother's which I am pretty sure came out of the classic Better Homes and Gardens® cookbook. I met a wonderful Hawaiian lady named Nalani at an event here in Maui. She was selling her banana bread. After taking the first bite I knew this was something special. She was so happy with how much I loved her banana bread she happily shared the recipe. Best served warm and fresh from the oven. Aloha!

Tips:
- Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your bread will be.
- Toast the macadamia nuts: Toasting the nuts will bring out their flavor and make them more crunchy.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the bread tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the bread at a moderate temperature: This will help the bread to rise evenly and prevent it from becoming too dry.
- Let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving: This will help the bread to hold its shape and prevent it from crumbling.
Conclusion:
This Hawaiian macadamia nut banana bread is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. It is moist, flavorful, and filled with macadamia nuts and bananas. This bread is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
