1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt, divided
½ cup whole milk, plus more as needed
3 tablespoons sugar
1 cup mayonnaise, divided
¼ cup white onion, grated
1 cup carrot, grated
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more to taste
2 scallions, thinly sliced, for garnish

Steps:

  • Drain the macaroni and transfer to a large bowl. While the pasta is still hot, mix in the apple cider vinegar and set aside to cool for 10 minutes.

½ teaspoon cayenne

1 ½ lb shrimp, cleaned and deveined, patted dry with paper towels.
¼ cup canola oil
12 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
24 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced
¼ cup fresh parsley, minced
