AWESOME HAM PASTA SALAD
I never seem to make enough of this salad. When people see the recipe, they look at me as if I am a little odd...but when they eat it they can't seem to stop! This recipe is great for kids and adults alike. The garlic is optional. Also, to lighten up the salad, substitute light mayonnaise, light sour cream, and turkey ham.

HAM PASTA SALAD
I "invented" this salad as I went along...it's a combination of various pasta salad recipes I'd seen. It can be served as a side dish, of course. In summer, however, my husband doesn't care for hot meals, so I make it as a main dish. We're recent city transplants with two young children, ages 6 and 3.

HAWAIIAN HAM AND BACON PASTA SALAD
Sweet, salty, smoky and a little bit spicy, there's a whole lot of flavor going on here, and with surprisingly few ingredients. That's the genius of this recipe: It combines a few complementary ingredients to scrumptious effect. Pineapple bits, ham chunks, bacon crumbles and diced jalapeño folded into the creamy pasta base make for a mouthwatering meal that you can probably pull together without running to the store. It's a great use of leftover ham, but also beautiful enough to feature on your Easter brunch table. Whether you're making it for tonight's dinner or a major holiday, prep it ahead of time and stash it in the fridge, so it's quick to assemble when it's time to come to the table.

PRETTY PASTA SALAD WITH PEAS, PARMESAN AND HAM
This is a wonderful pasta salad which I have been making for at least 15 years. In fact when I first moved to Greece and my mother visited me a year later, one of the first things she asked me was about how to make this recipe. I have made it for buffets and even for my engagement party and it tastes as good as it looks which is saying something! Enjoy.

Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh, flavorful ingredients will make your pasta salad shine. Choose ripe tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and tender ham.
- Don't overcook the pasta: Al dente pasta is the perfect texture for pasta salad. Cook it according to the package directions, then rinse it with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- Let the pasta salad cool before serving: This will help the flavors to meld and the pasta to absorb the dressing.
- Add the dressing just before serving: This will prevent the pasta from becoming soggy.
