2 tablespoons chicken bouillon granules
3 bay leaves
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon ground thyme
½ teaspoon dried marjoram
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup peeled and diced potatoes
½ cup chopped onion

Tips:

  • Choose the right cornmeal. Stone-ground cornmeal will give your cornbread a more rustic texture, while finely-ground cornmeal will produce a more tender crumb.
  • Use buttermilk or sour cream. These ingredients will help to make your cornbread moist and flavorful.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make your cornbread tough.
  • Bake the cornbread in a hot oven. This will help to create a crispy crust.
  • Let the cornbread cool slightly before serving. This will help to prevent it from crumbling.

Conclusion:

Ham n' Cheddar Cornbread is a delicious and versatile dish that can be served as a side dish, main course, or snack. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy recipe, give Ham n' Cheddar Cornbread a try!
