Tips:

  • Choose ripe bananas: Using ripe bananas will ensure that the rolls have a sweet and creamy texture. Look for bananas that are yellow with a few brown spots.
  • Use a sharp knife: When slicing the bananas, use a sharp knife to ensure clean and even slices.
  • Don't overcook the ham: Ham can easily become tough and dry if overcooked. Cook it just until it is heated through, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  • Make the cheese sauce ahead of time: The cheese sauce can be made up to 3 days ahead of time. Simply store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat it over low heat before serving.
  • Serve the rolls immediately: Ham and banana rolls are best served immediately after they are made. The bananas will start to brown if they sit for too long.

Conclusion:

Ham and banana rolls with cheese sauce are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or a quick weeknight meal. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a dish that will impress your family and friends.
