Tips:

  • Use a variety of cheeses: Feel free to experiment with different types of cheeses to create a unique flavor profile. For example, you could use a combination of mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Don't overcook the pasta: Al dente pasta is the perfect texture for this dish. If you overcook the pasta, it will become mushy and won't hold its shape well.
  • Use high-quality ham: The quality of the ham will make a big difference in the overall flavor of the dish. Look for a ham that is smoked or cured for the best flavor.
  • Add vegetables: If you want to add some extra vegetables to the dish, you could add chopped broccoli, cauliflower, or zucchini.
  • Serve with a side salad: A simple green salad is the perfect accompaniment to this hearty pasta dish.

Conclusion:

Ham and cheese ziti is a classic pasta dish that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. With its creamy sauce, tender pasta, and flavorful ham and cheese, this dish is sure to be a hit at your next potluck or family gathering.
