Tips:

  • Use a large pot for boiling the shells. This will prevent the water from boiling over and make it easier to stir the shells.
  • Don't overcook the shells. They should be cooked al dente, or slightly firm to the bite.
  • Rinse the shells with cold water after boiling. This will help to stop the cooking process and prevent the shells from sticking together.
  • Make sure the ground beef is cooked through before stuffing the shells. This will help to prevent foodborne illness.
  • Don't overstuff the shells. They should be filled, but not so full that they burst open when baked.
  • Use a baking dish that is large enough to hold the shells in a single layer. This will ensure that they cook evenly.
  • Cover the shells with foil during baking. This will help to keep them moist and prevent them from drying out.
  • Let the shells rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help them to set and make them easier to handle.

Conclusion:

Ground beef stuffed shells are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for busy weeknights. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a dish that is sure to please the whole family. Serve the shells with your favorite pasta sauce and a side of garlic bread for a complete meal.
