Time 17m

Yield 5 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup onion gravy

Steps:

  • Combine beef with lemon juice, salt & pepper, mix well.
  • Shape into 6 oblong patties.
  • Broil 6 minutes per side.
  • Serve topped with onion gravy.

Tips:

  • Choose the right ground beef. For this recipe, you'll want to use a ground beef that is at least 80% lean. This will help to ensure that the steak is not too greasy.
  • Season the ground beef well. Be sure to use a variety of seasonings, such as salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. This will help to give the steak flavor.
  • Mix the ground beef thoroughly. This will help to ensure that the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the steak.
  • Form the ground beef into a steak shape. Use your hands to form the ground beef into a 1-inch thick steak. Be sure to pack the ground beef tightly so that it holds together well.
  • Cook the steak over medium heat. This will help to prevent the steak from drying out. Cook the steak for 8-10 minutes per side, or until it is cooked through.
  • Let the steak rest before serving. This will help to keep the juices in the steak.

Conclusion:

Ground beef steak is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is a great source of protein and iron, and it can be cooked in a variety of ways. Whether you are grilling, pan-frying, or baking your ground beef steak, be sure to follow the tips above to ensure that you end up with a juicy, flavorful steak that everyone will love.
