3 tablespoons chopped scallion whites
1/2 cup roughly chopped lemongrass bottoms

1/3 cup fish sauce
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons peanut oil
Kosher salt
1/4 cup dry-roasted peanuts, chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Steps:

  • 1. Rinse the wings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Set aside in a large bowl while you prepare the marinade. Combine the garlic, shallots, ginger, scallions, lemongrass, brown sugar, fish sauce, lime juice and peanut oil in a food processor and process until smooth. Place the wings on the grill, season with 1 teaspoon salt and cook, turning every few minutes and basting with the marinade for the first 18 or so minutes. 3. Place the wings on a serving platter and garnish with the peanuts and cilantro.

Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken wings: Use fresh chicken wings, preferably organic or free-range. Look for wings that are plump and evenly sized.
  • Marinate the chicken wings overnight: This will help the chicken wings absorb the flavors of the marinade and make them more tender.
  • Be careful not to overcook the chicken wings: Overcooked chicken wings will be dry and tough. Cook the wings until they are cooked through but still slightly juicy.
  • Serve the chicken wings with your favorite dipping sauce: Vietnamese-style chicken wings are traditionally served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. However, you can also serve them with a variety of other dipping sauces, such as ranch dressing, barbecue sauce, or blue cheese dressing.
  • Garnish the chicken wings with fresh herbs: Fresh herbs, such as cilantro and basil, will add a pop of color and flavor to the chicken wings.

Conclusion:

Grilled Vietnamese-style chicken wings are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are perfect for a party or a casual get-together. The chicken wings are marinated in a flavorful смесь специй и трав, then grilled until they are cooked through. Serve the chicken wings with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
