Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use high-quality ground beef. Look for ground chuck or sirloin that is at least 80% lean.
  • Season the ground beef generously with salt and pepper. This will help to enhance the flavor of the burgers.
  • Don't overwork the ground beef. Overworking the beef will make the burgers tough.
  • Form the ground beef into patties that are about 1 inch thick. Make sure the patties are uniform in size so that they cook evenly.
  • Cook the burgers over medium heat. This will help to prevent them from burning on the outside and remaining raw on the inside.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness. For medium-rare burgers, cook to an internal temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit. For medium burgers, cook to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. For well-done burgers, cook to an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the burgers rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the burgers.

Conclusion:

Grilled sour cream and onion burgers are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a summer cookout. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, and the sour cream and onion topping adds a tangy and creamy twist. Serve the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, and onion.
