Tips:

  • Choose the right salmon: Look for wild-caught salmon that is sustainably sourced. It has a richer flavor and is better for the environment.
  • Prep the salmon properly: Remove the skin and pin bones from the salmon fillets. This will make them easier to cook and eat.
  • Use a flavorful marinade: Marinating the salmon in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, herbs, and spices will add flavor and moisture to the fish.
  • Cook the salmon over medium heat: This will help to prevent the salmon from overcooking and drying out.
  • Use a grill basket: This will help to keep the salmon from sticking to the grill grates and make it easier to flip.
  • Don't overcook the salmon: Cook the salmon until it is just opaque in the center. Overcooked salmon will be dry and tough.
  • Serve the salmon immediately: Grilled salmon is best served hot off the grill. You can garnish it with fresh herbs, lemon wedges, or a drizzle of olive oil.
