Tips:

  • Choose the Right Potatoes: Pick small, firm potatoes that are about 1-2 inches in diameter. They will cook more evenly and have a better texture.
  • Use Quality Bacon: Use thick-cut bacon for a more flavorful sauce. Also, be sure to cook the bacon until it is crispy.
  • Don't Overcrowd the Grill: Make sure to leave enough space between the potatoes on the grill so that they can cook evenly. Overcrowding will prevent the potatoes from getting crispy.
  • Use a Grill Basket: A grill basket can be helpful for keeping the potatoes from falling through the grates of the grill. It also makes it easier to flip the potatoes.
  • Make the Sauce Ahead of Time: The bacon ranch sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This makes it a great option for busy weeknights.

Conclusion:

Grilled potatoes with bacon ranch sauce are a delicious and easy side dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior, these potatoes are sure to be a hit at your next barbecue or potluck. The bacon ranch sauce is the perfect complement to the potatoes, adding a creamy, tangy flavor.
