Steps:
- Wash & dry nectarines. Cut each nectarine in half and remove the pit. Cut each half into 3 thick wedges.
- Lightly coat wedges in canola oil and grill for 1-2 minutes per side or until you see the fruit's natural sugar start to caramelize.
- Serve hot.
Tips:
- Choose ripe, firm nectarines for grilling. Underripe nectarines will be too tart, and overripe nectarines will be too soft and mushy.
- To prevent the nectarines from sticking to the grill, brush them with oil before grilling.
- Grill the nectarines over medium heat for about 5 minutes per side, or until they are slightly charred and softened.
- Serve the grilled nectarines immediately with your favorite toppings, such as blue cheese, honey, and black pepper.
Conclusion:
Grilled nectarines are a delicious and easy summer dessert. They are perfect for a quick and easy weeknight meal or a special occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a dish that is both flavorful and impressive. So next time you're looking for a new dessert to try, give grilled nectarines a try.
