Yield 2 servings

Number Of Ingredients 4

Marinade: 1/2 cup-olive oil
1/2 cup- rice wine vinegar
1 tsp.-dark molasses
and 2 Tbls.-lemon pepper. Steaks: 2 - 9oz. Sirloin Steaks

Steps:

  • Combine the marinade ingredients in a freezer bag. Shake well and add the steaks. It is good to double bag and place in refrigerator for 1 hour before grilling. Grill the steaks 5 minutes per side on medium high heat. Enjoy.

Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of meat: Sirloin steak is a good choice for grilling because it is relatively tender and flavorful. Other good options include flank steak, skirt steak, and hanger steak.
  • Marinate the steak: Marinating the steak in a flavorful marinade will help to tenderize it and add flavor. You can use a variety of marinades, but some good options include olive oil, vinegar, herbs, and spices.
  • Preheat your grill: Preheat your grill to high heat before cooking the steak. This will help to sear the steak and create a nice crust.
  • Cook the steak over direct heat: Cook the steak over direct heat for a few minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Do not move the steak around too much while it is cooking, as this will prevent it from searing properly.
  • Let the steak rest: Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will help to redistribute the juices throughout the steak and make it more tender.
  • Serve the steak with your favorite sides: Grilled marinated sirloin steak can be served with a variety of sides, such as grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a salad.
  • Conclusion:

Grilled marinated sirloin steak is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a summer cookout. By following these tips, you can ensure that your steak comes out perfectly cooked and flavorful every time.
