Tips:

  • Use a quality fish: Choose a fresh, firm-fleshed fish like orange roughy, halibut, or cod.
  • Marinate the fish: This helps to infuse the fish with flavor and prevent it from drying out while grilling. The marinade in this recipe combines lemon, lime, herbs, olive oil, and honey, which work together to create a delicious citrusy and savory flavor.
  • Grill the fish over medium heat: This helps to cook the fish evenly without overcooking it. Overcooked fish can become dry and tough.
  • Baste the fish with the marinade while grilling: This helps to keep the fish moist and flavorful.
  • Do not overcrowd the grill: Cooking too many pieces of fish at once can cause the grill temperature to drop, resulting in uneven cooking.
  • Cook the fish until it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork: Overcooked fish will be dry and tough, so be careful not to overcook it.

Conclusion:

This grilled lemon-lime-herb orange roughy recipe is an easy and delicious way to cook fish. The marinade infuses the fish with flavor, and the grilling process creates a perfectly cooked, flaky fish that is sure to please everyone at the table. Serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, grilled lemon slices, or a simple green salad.
