Tips:

  • Choose the right flank steak: Look for a steak that is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick and has good marbling.
  • Marinate the steak: Marinating the steak helps to tenderize it and add flavor. You can use a variety of marinades, but a simple one made with olive oil, garlic, and herbs is a good option.
  • Grill the steak over high heat: This will help to sear the outside of the steak and keep it juicy on the inside. Cook the steak for 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare.
  • Let the steak rest before slicing: This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, making it more tender and flavorful.
  • Serve the steak with a summer relish: A summer relish is a great way to add freshness and flavor to your grilled flank steak. You can find a variety of relish recipes online, or you can make your own.

Conclusion:

Grilled flank steak is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a summer cookout. By following these tips, you can make sure that your grilled flank steak is cooked perfectly and full of flavor.
