Yield 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 lbs large raw shrimp
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried chili pepper flakes
1 teaspoon ground sweet paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon ground oregano
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Cook on a hot barbecue grill for 4 minutes each side or until shrimp are pink and tender.

Tips:

  • Use fresh shrimp: Fresh shrimp has a better flavor and texture than frozen shrimp.
  • Clean the shrimp properly: Remove the shells, heads, and tails from the shrimp. Devein the shrimp by making a shallow cut along the back of the shrimp and removing the dark vein.
  • Marinate the shrimp: Marinating the shrimp in a flavorful mixture of spices, herbs, and liquids helps to enhance the flavor of the shrimp.
  • Don't overcook the shrimp: Shrimp cooks quickly, so it's important not to overcook it. Overcooked shrimp will become tough and rubbery.
