Tips for Making the Best Green Garden Fries:

  • Choose the right potatoes: For the best fries, use starchy potatoes like Russet or Yukon Gold. These potatoes will give you crispy fries on the outside and fluffy fries on the inside.
  • Cut the potatoes into even-sized fries: This will help them cook evenly.
  • Soak the fries in water before frying: This will help remove excess starch and make the fries crispier.
  • Fry the fries in hot oil: The ideal temperature for frying fries is between 350°F and 375°F. If the oil is too hot, the fries will burn on the outside before they are cooked through. If the oil is too cold, the fries will be greasy and soggy.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When you add the fries to the oil, make sure they are in a single layer. If the pan is too crowded, the fries will not cook evenly.
  • Season the fries immediately after frying: While the fries are still hot, sprinkle them with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings.

Conclusion:

Green garden fries are a delicious and healthy side dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are a great way to get your daily dose of vegetables, and they can also be served as a snack or appetizer.
