Time 4h10m

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 cups water
6 oz Orange Jello Mix
3 ounce instant vanilla pudding
11 ounce can Mandarin oranges, drained
1/2 of a 20 ounce can of Pineapple chunks, drained
One 8 ounce container cool whip

Steps:

  • Mix together 4 cups of water, orange jello mix, and vanilla pudding mix in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring the whole time to keep clumps from forming. Once it starts to boil, remove from heat. Pour into a heat-resistant container (I usually use a glass baking dish), cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for about four hours. Remove from fridge and break up the jello into chunks. Place in a large bowl. Add in the pineapple, mandarin oranges, and whipped cream and mix around until everything is combined. Keep refrigerated until you are ready to serve.

ORANGE JELLO FRUIT FLUFF SALAD

Orange Jello Fruit Fluff Salad image

My friend made this for my baby shower in 2004, and it's amazing! I'm glad to share the recipe. You can experiment and change the whole taste by using different flavors of jell-o. It's also a fun way to make the salad fit in with a theme. It's also great made a day ahead.

Tips:

  • Use fresh fruits: Fresh grapefruit and oranges will give your salad the best flavor. If you don't have fresh fruit, you can use frozen or canned fruit, but the flavor will not be as good.
  • Don't overcook the jello: The jello should be slightly firm, but not rubbery. Overcooked jello will make your salad tough.
  • Chill the salad thoroughly: The salad needs to be chilled for at least 4 hours before serving. This will allow the jello to set and the flavors to meld.
  • Serve the salad with a variety of toppings: You can serve the salad with whipped cream, fruit, nuts, or even a drizzle of honey.

Conclusion:

Grapefruit Orange Jello Salad is a classic dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With its refreshing flavor and beautiful presentation, this salad is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering.
