GRANNY'S BROWNIES
This has been a recipe in our family since before the turn of the century. I am 70, so you can imagine when it started to get down to my sister and me. Now my grand-nephew enjoys them. Keep under lock and key, or they will disappear in a trice!

GRANNY SMITH BROWNIES (BLONDIES)
Haven't tried these because of the amount of sugar in them, but will try with Splenda, or a combination of Splenda and sugar. Remember to adjust cooking time if using Splenda. Time does not include cooling time.

Tips:
- Use high-quality chocolate. This will make a big difference in the taste of your brownies. Choose a chocolate that has a cocoa content of at least 70%.
- Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the brownies tough. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the brownies in a preheated oven. This will help to ensure that they bake evenly.
- Do not overbake the brownies. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly. Bake the brownies for the amount of time specified in the recipe.
- Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them. This will help to prevent them from falling apart.
Conclusion:
Granny's Brownies are a classic dessert that is easy to make and always a hit. With a few simple tips, you can make sure that your brownies turn out perfect every time. So next time you're in the mood for a sweet treat, give Granny's Brownies a try!
