NO-BAKE GORP ENERGY "COOKIES"

No-Bake GORP Energy

"GORP" is actually an acronym that means Good Old Raisins and Peanuts. These "cookies" aim to be a cheaper on-the-go meal/snack option than something prepackaged like a Cliff Bar. This recipe is also vegan, if you groove that way.

Tips:

  • Use a large mixing bowl to combine all of the ingredients. This will help to ensure that all of the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help to prevent the cookies from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper before baking the cookies. This will help to prevent the cookies from sticking to the pan.
  • Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown around the edges.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Conclusion:

These GORP cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are also a great way to use up any leftover GORP that you may have. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy snack or dessert, give these GORP cookies a try. You won't be disappointed!
