1 tablespoon dry active yeast
1 1/4 cups warm water
1/4 cup olive oil
3 1/2-4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup cream

fresh ground pepper
2 teaspoons olive oil, for brushing

Steps:

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients, especially the cheese. A good Gorgonzola Dolce cheese will make all the difference in the flavor of your focaccia.
  • Make sure the dough is well-kneaded and elastic before shaping it. This will help it rise properly and give it a chewy texture.
  • Don't overproof the dough. If it overproofs, it will become too airy and light, and it won't hold its shape when baked.
  • Bake the focaccia in a hot oven. This will help it develop a crispy crust and a tender interior.
  • Brush the focaccia with olive oil before baking. This will help it brown evenly and give it a nice flavor.
  • Top the focaccia with your favorite toppings before baking. Some popular toppings include Gorgonzola cheese, walnuts, and rosemary.
  • Gorgonzola cream adds exquisite cheesy and tangy flavor to focaccia.
  • Use activated instant yeast spread evenly across the surface of the flour, then pour water. It helps to dissolve yeast easily.
  • Make sure to use warm water and knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic.
  • If your dough is sticky, gradually add more flour until it is less sticky. Do not add too much flour, or your dough will become dry and crumbly.

Conclusion:

Gorgonzola focaccia is a delicious and versatile bread that can be enjoyed as an appetizer, main course, or side dish. It's perfect for parties and gatherings, and it's also great for everyday meals. With its crispy crust, tender interior, and flavorful toppings, Gorgonzola focaccia is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
