Tips for Making a Gold Brick

  • Choose high-quality chocolate: High-quality chocolate will yield a rich and flavorful gold brick. Look for chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
  • Temper the chocolate: Tempering chocolate is a process of heating and cooling it in a specific way to stabilize it. This makes it easier to work with and gives it a glossy finish.
  • Use a mold: A mold will help you create a gold brick with a smooth and even surface. You can use a rectangular mold, a loaf pan, or even a candy mold.
  • Decorate the gold brick: Once the gold brick has set, you can decorate it with edible gold leaf, sprinkles, or other decorations.
