2/3 cup white rice flour
6 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons gluten free baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup almond milk, soymilk or regular milk
1 teaspoon xanthan gum
1 teaspoon guar gum

Tips:

  • Make sure all ingredients are cold before starting the recipe. This will help to create flaky layers in the scones.
  • Use a pastry blender or two forks to cut the butter into the flour mixture. This will help to create a crumbly texture.
  • Do not overwork the dough. Overworking the dough will make the scones tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help to firm up the dough and make it easier to handle.
  • Bake the scones in a hot oven. This will help to create a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior.
  • Serve the scones warm with your favorite toppings, such as jam, butter, or honey.

Conclusion:

These gluten-free bacon Gruyère scones are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast or snack. They are perfect for a special occasion or a lazy weekend morning. With their flaky texture, cheesy flavor, and crispy bacon bits, these scones are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
