Tips:

  • Choose fresh and tender vegetables: Look for sugar snap peas that are bright green and crisp, and turnips that are small and firm.
  • Trim the vegetables properly: Trim the ends off the sugar snap peas and remove any tough strings from the sides. Peel the turnips and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  • Use a hot pan: When cooking the vegetables, make sure the pan is hot before adding them. This will help them to caramelize and develop a nice glaze.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: Cook the vegetables in batches if necessary, to avoid overcrowding the pan. Overcrowding will prevent them from cooking evenly.
  • Season to taste: Season the vegetables with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices to taste.
  • Serve immediately: Glazed sugar snap peas and turnips are best served immediately, while they are still hot and crispy.
