Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350^. Spray or grease 2 jelly roll pans. Set aside. Mix together meats, bread crumbs, milk, spices, sugar, whiskey and egg, until well mixed. Shape into the size balls you like, from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch..depends on how you want to use them. I like the smaller size for appetizers.

Bake for 30 minutes (remove accumulated grease with a kitchen baster) and then spoon a little glaze over each meatball; and bake for 30 more minutes or less depending on size of meatballs; be sure to baste meatballs often adding more glaze as needed.
- 3. Place fisished meatball in a serving bowl and pour any remaing glaze over them. Have plenty of round wooden toothpicks on hand.
- 4. GLAZE: Combine water and cornstarch, stir to blend. Combine all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil; stir in cornstarch mixture; cook and stir 1 minute or until glaze has thickened .

GLAZED HAM BALLS
Meet the Cook: Over the years, I have found this recipe ideal for using leftovers from a baked ham. The pleasantly soft ham balls are glazed with a thick sauce that's slightly sweet with a hint of cloves. I frequently take them to church potlucks. -Esther Leitch, Fredericksburg, Virginia
