Tips:

  • For a moist and flavorful coffee cake, use high-quality ingredients, such as fresh cherries, unsalted butter, and pure vanilla extract.
  • To achieve a tender crumb, be sure to cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Creaming the butter and sugar together incorporates air into the batter, which results in a lighter and airier cake.
  • Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough and dense cake. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • For a crisp and golden crust, brush the top of the cake with melted butter before baking.
  • To prevent the cherries from sinking to the bottom of the cake, toss them in a little flour before adding them to the batter.
  • If you don't have a bundt pan, you can bake the coffee cake in a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • The coffee cake can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the coffee cake for up to 2 months.

Conclusion:

Glazed cherry coffee cake is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. With its tender crumb, sweet glaze, and tart cherries, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
