Tips:

  • Prep the ingredients in advance: Slicing the ginger, garlic, scallions, and red pepper in advance will save time when you're cooking.
  • Use a large skillet or wok: This will ensure that the scallops and vegetables have enough room to cook evenly.
  • Cook the scallops in batches: Don't overcrowd the pan, or the scallops will steam instead of sear.
  • Don't overcook the scallops: They should be cooked through but still slightly translucent in the center.
  • Use a flavorful rice noodle: A good quality rice noodle will add flavor and texture to the dish.
  • Serve immediately: This dish is best served hot, so don't let it sit for too long before serving.

Conclusion:

This ginger scallop with rice noodle recipe is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a quick and healthy meal. The combination of ginger, garlic, scallions, and red pepper gives the scallops a flavorful and aromatic taste, while the rice noodles add a chewy texture. This dish is also a good source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids, making it a healthy choice for a main course.
