GIANT SOFT PRETZELS
These are so yummy! Even if a bit messy to make. You can also shape the pretzels into letters or numbers. Kids love to do that. You can also brush with butter after you take the out of the oven and sprinkle cinnamon sugar over them. My Kids love them that way.

Tips:
- Use fresh yeast: Fresh yeast is more active than dry yeast, so it will help your pretzels rise better.
- Proof the yeast: Before you add the yeast to the dough, proof it in warm water with a little sugar. This will help to activate the yeast and ensure that it is working properly.
- Knead the dough well: Kneading the dough will help to develop the gluten in the flour, which will make the pretzels chewy. Knead the dough for at least 10 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise: After you have kneaded the dough, let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size. This will help to develop the flavor of the pretzels.
- Shape the pretzels: Once the dough has risen, shape it into pretzels. You can use a pretzel board or your hands to do this.
- Boil the pretzels: Before you bake the pretzels, boil them in a baking soda solution. This will help to give the pretzels their characteristic chewy crust.
- Bake the pretzels: After you have boiled the pretzels, bake them in a hot oven until they are golden brown. This will take about 15-20 minutes.
- Enjoy! Serve the pretzels warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Conclusion:
Giant pretzels are a delicious and impressive treat that are perfect for parties or gatherings. They are relatively easy to make, but they do take some time. With a little patience, you can make giant pretzels that are sure to wow your friends and family.
