2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
4 cups chopped peeled apples
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch pan or a 10-inch bundt pan. Stir the flour, baking soda and salt together. 1 teaspoon salt
4 large eggs, room temperature

1 cup canola oil
1/2 cup orange juice

4 cups thinly sliced peeled apples (about 4 to 5 apples)
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons sugar
Confectioners' sugar, optional
