Teriyaki Edamame image

Found this on the back of a frozen Birds Eye Edamame in the Pod package. A nice sweet teriyaki glaze that kind of reminded us of teriyaki wings. Just make sure you have lots of napkins as these sweet goodies are very sticky.

Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh edamame. If using frozen edamame, thaw it completely before cooking.
  • If you don't have garlic powder or onion powder, you can use 1/4 teaspoon of garlic salt and 1/4 teaspoon of onion salt instead.
  • To make the teriyaki sauce, you can use store-bought teriyaki sauce or make your own. If you're making your own, be sure to use a good quality soy sauce and mirin.
  • If you don't have a grill, you can cook the edamame in a skillet over medium heat. Just be sure to stir frequently so that the edamame doesn't burn.
