Tips:

  • Use fresh, large shrimp: Look for shrimp that are bright pink or orange in color, with firm flesh.
  • Clean the shrimp properly: Remove the heads, shells, and devein the shrimp. To devein the shrimp, use a sharp knife to make a shallow incision along the back of the shrimp, then remove the vein.
  • Marinate the shrimp: Marinating the shrimp in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs will help to flavor and tenderize them.
  • Cook the shrimp properly: Shrimp cooks very quickly, so it's important to not overcook them. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque.
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The better the quality of your ingredients, the better your shrimp will taste. Buy fresh shrimp, lemons, garlic, and herbs from your local grocery store or farmers market.

Conclusion:

Garlic lemon shrimp is a quick and easy seafood dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is also a healthy and delicious option that is sure to please everyone at the table. With its bright, citrusy flavor and tender, succulent shrimp, this dish is sure to become a favorite. Serve it over rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
