Have always wanted to make my own garlic butter. In the past, I've only made enough for the job at hand. This recipe will last for quite awhile. This stuff is fabulous! I love to use this to spread on top of warm breadsticks or rolls right out of the oven. Before when I made breadsticks, I could never get a strong enough flavor to come through in my breadsticks. Just slather this on top of or inside of homemade breadsticks or rolls. It's so much better than just sprinkling on Parmesan and garlic powder. You can also add Italian seasoning if you like. If you don't have minced garlic, you can substitute 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic powder. However, I prefer minced with an additional dash of garlic powder. Mmmmmm... I have added to mashed potatoes or to butter up noodles. Make a bunch and store it in the fridge- it'll become a regular staple!
