  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh garlic and chili peppers will give your couscous the best flavor. If you can't find fresh garlic, you can use minced garlic from a jar, but avoid using garlic powder.
  • Don't be afraid to adjust the heat level: If you like your food spicy, you can add more chili peppers or hot sauce. If you're not sure how spicy you want it, start with a small amount and add more to taste.
  • Make sure to toast the couscous: Toasting the couscous before cooking it will give it a nutty flavor and help it to absorb the flavors of the other ingredients.
  • Use a flavorful broth: The broth you use to cook the couscous will also add flavor to the dish. Use a vegetable broth or chicken broth that you enjoy the taste of.
