Tips:

  • Choose fresh, seasonal vegetables: The best stir-fries start with fresh, flavorful vegetables. Look for vegetables that are brightly colored and free of blemishes.
  • Cut your vegetables evenly: This will ensure that they cook evenly. If you are using a variety of vegetables, cut them into similar-sized pieces.
  • Use a hot wok or skillet: A hot wok or skillet will help to sear the vegetables and create a nice, smoky flavor.
  • Add your vegetables in stages: Don't overcrowd the wok or skillet. Add your vegetables in stages, starting with the vegetables that take the longest to cook.
  • Stir-fry your vegetables quickly: Stir-fries are meant to be cooked quickly over high heat. This will help to preserve the vegetables' nutrients and flavor.
  • Use a flavorful sauce: A delicious sauce will help to bring all of the flavors of your stir-fry together. You can use a store-bought sauce or make your own.
  • Serve your stir-fry immediately: Stir-fries are best served immediately after they are cooked. This will help to ensure that they are still hot and crispy.
