GARLIC HERB BREAD IN YOUR BREAD MACHINE

Garlic Herb Bread in Your Bread Machine image

This recipe came with the very first bread machine I ever had by Oster. It is still my families favorite out of all the recipes I have tried. Cooking time is based on the time it takes my bread maker to make the bread. I make rolls and breadsticks by using the dough only cycle. I make a dozen rolls or 2 dozen breadstick.

ITALIAN PARMESAN BREAD FOR BREAD MACHINE

Italian Parmesan Bread for Bread Machine image

I've been making this bread for years without measuring, and finally decided to write it down. My most requested bread from my bread-lovin' son. Makes the house smell divine!! You can easily increase the amounts of seasonings to your taste. (NOTE: Many people seem to be needing to add extra water, so I'm adding an adjustment to the recipe.)

Categories     Yeast Breads

Time 3h5m

Yield 1 2 pound loaf

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 1/2 cups water (or more, as needed)
4 cups flour

1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon italian seasoning (or pizza seasoning)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast

Just mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl and knead for about 10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic. Then, place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour, or until it has doubled in size. Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan. Let it rise for another 30 minutes, or until it has almost doubled in size. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
