HARVEST SALMON CHOWDER
Hmmm... canned salmon seems to be a theme here. Love the stuff. Commercially canned or home canned, the stuff is just great. So much tastier than canned tuna. Anyway, this recipe was just sent to me from The Farmer's Almanac - gotta stash & save to make sometime soon 'cause it's got all the right stuff.

Tips:
- Select Fresh Vegetables: Choose fresh, seasonal vegetables for the chowder. This will ensure the best flavor and texture.
- Use a Variety of Vegetables: Don't limit yourself to just one or two types of vegetables. Use a variety to create a more flavorful and visually appealing chowder.
- Don't Overcook the Vegetables: Vegetables should be cooked until tender but still retain their shape and color. Overcooking will make them mushy and bland.
- Use a Good Quality Broth: The broth is the base of the chowder, so it's important to use a good quality one. Make your own broth if you can, or use a store-bought broth that is low in sodium and has a rich flavor.
- Season to Taste: Don't be afraid to season the chowder to taste. Add salt, pepper, and other spices until it reaches your desired flavor.
- Garnish with Fresh Herbs: Garnish the chowder with fresh herbs such as parsley, chives, or thyme. This will add a pop of color and flavor.
