3/4 cup butter, cubed
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
4 large eggs
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
WALNUT CRUNCH TOPPING:
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, cubed
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • In a microwave, melt butter and chocolate; stir until smooth. Cool slightly. In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar; stir in vanilla and chocolate mixture. Stir in flour until well blended. Pour into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan; set aside., For topping, in a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and butter. Cook and stir over low heat until butter is melted. 3/4 cup sugar alcohol (xylitol)
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons almond flour
1 1/4 cups walnuts, lightly chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease an 8" x 8" cake pan with nonstick cooking spray and line with parchment, leaving a 2-inch overhang on all sides. Grease parchment.
