3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 large egg yolk
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
FILLING:
1 package fudge brownie mix (13-inch x 9-inch pan size)
1 large egg
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup canola oil
TOPPING:
1 package (11-1/2 ounces) milk chocolate chips, melted
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Press onto the bottom of a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. 2 cups (from 8-oz container) Cool Whip frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 tablespoons Hershey's™ chocolate-flavor syrup

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. Make brownie batter as directed on box for cakelike brownies. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread in pan.
