FRUITY CHICKEN SALAD

Fruity Chicken Salad image

The amounts listed are only a guideline since I don't even bother measuring please feel free to adjust all ingredients to suit taste but please try not to omit anything all the ingredients blend together perfectly! You could use all mayonnaise but I prefer half mayonnaise and yogurt or sour cream for a lighter texture, if you are making this in advance then add in the diced apple just before serving. If you are a curry-lover then try adding in 1/2 to 1 teaspoon curry powder into the mayo mixture, I think you will be quite surprised at the taste! This is one of the best recipes for chicken salad!... For a luncheon, double or triple the complete recipe and serve this on a bed of lettuce with tomato wedges around the chicken salad then sprinkle more toasted almonds on and around the chicken salad... your guests will rave!

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: This will make a big difference in the flavor of your pasta salad. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always best, and they will add a lot of color and texture to your dish.
  • Don't overcook the pasta: Pasta should be cooked al dente, or slightly firm to the bite. This will prevent it from becoming mushy in the salad.
  • Choose a good quality dressing: The dressing is what will bring all the flavors of your pasta salad together. Use a dressing that you like and that complements the other ingredients in your salad.
  • Add some nuts or seeds: Nuts and seeds add a nice crunch and texture to pasta salad. They also provide some healthy fats and protein.
  • Chill the salad before serving: This will help the flavors to meld together and will make the salad more refreshing.

Conclusion:

Fruited chicken pasta salad is a delicious and refreshing dish that is perfect for summer gatherings. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own personal preferences. So next time you are looking for a light and flavorful meal, give fruited chicken pasta salad a try!
