FRUIT SALAD WITH ORANGE LIQUEUR

Fruit Salad With Orange Liqueur image

I tossed this together at the last second for a fruit salad and it turned out wonderful. I did not have time to chill the salad, but it was fine at room temp. Use cold fruit so the salad does not have to be chilled before serving or bananas and apples may turn brown.

NOT JUST FOR BRUNCH FRUIT SALAD

Not Just for Brunch Fruit Salad image

I've used this recipe for many years varying the fruits that I include. I often add apples, bananas, and/or blueberries. Though there are specific measurements in the recipe, there is no need to carefully measure each ingredient - just approximate the quantities of your favorite fruits to have a beautiful and delicious salad. I have frequently served this Christmas morning.

PERFECT SUMMER FRUIT SALAD

Perfect Summer Fruit Salad image

The perfect fruit salad for a backyard bbq or any occasion. There are never leftovers! This is one of my favorite fruit salad recipes, as I think the sauce really makes it. This salad is tastier the longer you can let it soak in its juices. I prefer 3 to 4 hours in the refrigerator before I serve it. Enjoy.

Tips for Making the Best Fruit Salad with Orange Liqueur and Sorbet

  • Choose ripe, seasonal fruits: This will ensure that your fruit salad is bursting with flavor. For best results, use a variety of fruits, such as berries, citrus fruits, tropical fruits, and stone fruits.
  • Cut the fruit into uniform pieces: This will help the fruit salad look more visually appealing and make it easier to eat.
  • Use a light touch when mixing the fruit: Be careful not to bruise the fruit, as this will release juices and make the fruit salad soggy.
  • Add the orange liqueur and sorbet just before serving: This will prevent the sorbet from melting and the orange liqueur from evaporating.
  • Serve the fruit salad immediately: This is the best way to enjoy the fresh flavors of the fruit and sorbet.
