Time 45m

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 can(s) cherry pie filling or your favorite pie filling
1 pkg jiffy white cake mix
1/4 c margarine or butter, soften
1/2 c chopped nuts ( use walnuts)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread filling in a 8" square pan. Combine cake mix and nuts in bowl. Add margarine or butter and mixed until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of pie filling. Bake 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe fruit for the best flavor and texture in your cobbler.
  • If you're using frozen fruit, thaw it completely before adding it to the cobbler filling.
  • For a sweeter cobbler, add more sugar to the filling. For a tarter cobbler, add less sugar or use a tart fruit, such as rhubarb or gooseberries.
  • If you want a thicker cobbler filling, add a cornstarch slurry (equal parts cornstarch and water) to the filling before cooking.
  • For a crispy cobbler topping, use a combination of flour, sugar, and butter. For a softer topping, use a combination of flour, sugar, and milk.
  • Bake the cobbler until the filling is bubbling and the topping is golden brown.
  • Serve the cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
