Tips:
- Use fresh Fruit Loops: Stale or old cereal will not give you the best results in terms of texture or flavor.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can make the cookies tough.
- Chill the dough before baking: This helps the cookies hold their shape and prevents them from spreading too much.
- Use a large scoop to portion the dough: This will ensure that the cookies are all uniform in size and shape.
- Bake the cookies until the edges are just starting to brown: Overbaking will make the cookies dry and crumbly.
- Let the cookies cool completely before icing them: This will help the icing set properly.
Conclusion:
Fruit Loop cookies are a fun and easy treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike. The orange icing adds a sweet and tangy flavor that complements the fruity cereal perfectly. These cookies are also very versatile. You can use any type of cereal you like, and you can also add other mix-ins, such as chocolate chips or nuts.
