Tips:

  • Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor and texture. If using frozen strawberries, thaw them completely before measuring.
  • Do not overmix the batter, as this can result in a tough cake. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • For a crunchier topping, use chopped nuts or granola instead of graham cracker crumbs.
  • If you don't have a springform pan, you can use a 9-inch round cake pan. Just be sure to grease and flour the pan well before pouring in the batter.
  • To make sure the cake is cooked through, insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
  • Let the cake cool completely before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld and the cake to set properly.
