EASY FROZEN MARGARITAS

Easy Frozen Margaritas image

Authentic margaritas call for lots of fresh lime juice - both expensive and time-consuming. I've found I can shortcut the process by using frozen limeade. And for a festive non-alcoholic drink, combine a 12-ounce can of limeade (thawed) with a 48-ounce bottle of sparkling water.

FROZEN CHERRY MARGARITA

Frozen Cherry Margarita image

This really isn't a margarita as there is no tequila in it. That being said, I still want to try this one. From Three Olives Vodka.

Categories     Beverages

Time 5m

Yield 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 1/2 ounces cherry vodka
1/2 ounce triple sec
1 ounce lime juice
splash grenadine
lime, circle (to garnish)

Steps:

  • Pour ingredients in a blender with 2 cups crushed ice. Blend at high speed and pour into a sugar rimmed glass.
  • Garnish with lime.

Tips:

  • Use Frozen Cherries for the Best Flavor: Fresh cherries can be used, but frozen cherries will give your margaritas a more intense cherry flavor.
  • Add Some Sweetness: If your cherries are tart, you may want to add some sweetener to your margaritas. Agave nectar or simple syrup are both good options.
  • Use Fresh Lime Juice: Fresh lime juice will give your margaritas the best flavor. If you don't have fresh lime juice, you can use bottled lime juice, but it won't be as good.
  • Don't Overblend: Overblending your margaritas will make them too slushy. Blend them just until the ice is crushed and the mixture is smooth.
  • Serve Immediately: Margaritas are best served immediately after they are made. If you need to make them ahead of time, you can store them in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours.

Conclusion:

Frozen cherry margaritas are a delicious and refreshing cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you're looking for a tasty and festive drink, give frozen cherry margaritas a try!
