FROSTED PECANS
A friend gave me this recipe after I went crazy over them. I make them every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everyone just loves them Last year my 13 year old grandson requested the recipe so that he could make them himself. (They look real nice sprinkled over a cookie platter.)

Tips:
- Use fresh pecan halves. Fresh pecans will have a better flavor and texture than stale or old pecans.
- Toast the pecans before frosting them. This will help to bring out their flavor and make them more crispy.
- Use a thick frosting. A thick frosting will help to coat the pecans evenly and prevent them from becoming soggy.
- Be patient when frosting the pecans. It takes a little time to coat each pecan evenly, so be patient and don't rush the process.
- Let the frosted pecans cool completely before storing them. This will help to prevent them from sticking together.
