Tips:

  • Use real maple syrup. Artificial maple flavoring will not produce the same rich, delicious taste.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies until the edges are just beginning to brown. Overbaking will make the cookies dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before frosting them. This will help the frosting set properly.

Conclusion:

These frosted maple cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are soft and chewy with a sweet and tangy maple flavor. The frosting is the perfect finishing touch, adding a creamy and decadent touch. Whether you are looking for a special treat to enjoy with your family or a simple dessert to bring to a party, these frosted maple cookies are sure to be a hit.
